Internal ILLC preselection

For the internal ILLC pre-selection, internal UvA candidates from the MSc Logic or any other relevant UvA-Master programme (or an excellent external candidate) should submit the following documents:

1. a brief description of the proposed research (max 1 page A4), including the name of the proposed supervisor(s);
2. an academic CV (max two pages) including a link to a writing sample;
3. a list of all Master-level modules taken, with an official transcript of grades.

These documents should be submitted by e-mail to phd-illc@uva.nl by a senior member of MCG. The deadline for submitting these documents is 3 December 2023, 23:59.

N.B. The criteria for success in this internal ILLC-call will be the quality of the proposal, the quality of the candidate, and the envisaged prospects in the NWO Call.

N.B.2 Concerning the proposed research, note that for obvious reasons only proposals with a clear Humanities signature will be considered.
