This listening experiment is part of a series of online experiments on rhythm perception. This study focusses on the perception of rhythmic complexity. The experiment will be presented in three steps consisting of 1) a screencast with instructions for the online experiment, 2) the actual listening experiment consisting of seven comparisons of rhythmic pattern, and 3) a few questions about your musical background. The entire experiment will take about fifteen minutes. Technically, all you need is a recent browser (e.g., FireFox, IE7, Safari) and the QuickTime plugin.
